Reach-and-wash, cradle and access equipment

Commercial Window Cleaning in London

Shopfronts, office glazing, curtain walls and internal glass, cleaned on a cycle that suits the building. Water-fed poles from the ground, access equipment where it is needed.

Glass is the first thing a building shows the street.

London air leaves a film on glazing within weeks. A shopfront with dirty glass looks closed. An office reception with streaked panels looks unmanaged. Window cleaning is the most visible line on a building's maintenance budget and, per visit, one of the cheapest.

We clean windows on commercial buildings across London: ground floor shopfronts, multi-storey office glazing, atria and rooflights, glass balustrades and internal partitions. External work is done from the ground with water-fed poles wherever the building allows, which avoids ladders, keeps the pavement clear and lets the work happen during the day without disruption.

What we clean.

  • Shopfronts, fascias and entrance glass
  • Office windows and curtain wall glazing
  • Atria, canopies and rooflights
  • Glass balustrades, screens and internal partitions
  • Internal glass, mirrors and glazed doors
  • Frames, sills and ledges as part of the clean
  • Signage and cladding panels where they can be reached safely
  • Solar panels and skylights by arrangement

Method chosen for the building.

Water-fed pole systems with purified water reach most glazing to several storeys from the pavement and dry spot-free without detergent. Where the building is taller, set back or over a public area, we plan access properly: cradles or building maintenance units where they exist, mobile elevating work platforms where they do not, and rope access through a specialist where the building demands it.

The cycle is set by the location and the frontage. A shopfront on a main road is cleaned more often than a courtyard office. Monthly, six-weekly, quarterly, or a fixed number of visits a year, written into a schedule and invoiced as one line.

What you get

How window cleaning is run.

On a cycle

A schedule agreed for the building and kept to. You know when the next visit is without asking.

From the ground where possible

Water-fed poles avoid ladders, keep the pavement open and let the work happen in working hours.

Access planned

Higher or awkward glazing assessed properly, with the access method and the method statement agreed beforehand.

Frames and sills included

The frame, the sill and the ledge are cleaned with the glass, so the window looks clean rather than just the pane.

Internal glass too

Partitions, glazed doors and reception glass cleaned on the same visit or on the cleaning contract rota.

Insured and documented

Risk assessments and method statements for each site, and a record of every visit.

How it works

How it is set up.

  1. 01

    Look at the building

Frontage, height, access, the pavement and any restrictions. Photographs are often enough for a shopfront; a visit for a larger building.

  2. 02

    Method and cycle

The access method for each elevation, the visit frequency, and a price per visit or per year.

  3. 03

    First clean

Sometimes a heavier first visit if the glazing has been neglected, then the routine cycle from there.

  4. 04

    Keep to the schedule

Visits recorded, missed access reported, and the cycle adjusted if the building or the frontage changes.

Common questions

Window cleaning questions.

How high can you clean from the ground?

Water-fed poles reach several storeys from the pavement, depending on the building and what is below it. Above that, access equipment or a cradle is used, and we plan it with you beforehand.

Can windows be cleaned during opening hours?

Usually, yes. Pole work from the ground is quiet and quick and does not block the entrance. For shopfronts we can work before opening if you prefer.

Do you clean the inside as well?

Yes. Internal glass can be done on the same visit or, for buildings under contract with us, on the periodic rota.

How often should commercial windows be cleaned?

It depends on the location. A main-road shopfront benefits from monthly cleaning; a set-back office is often fine on a quarterly cycle. We recommend a cycle after seeing the building.

Are you insured for work at height?

Yes. Public and employer's liability cover is in place, and every site has a risk assessment and method statement for the access method used.
